Why this matters
Think of these three as your page's ID card. The page title is the name at the top — what shows in the browser tab and what AI repeats when it mentions you. The main headline is the big title visitors see on the page itself. The page description is the one-line summary under your name in search results. Missing two or more means your page has effectively no ID — AI has to guess what it's about, and guesses get skipped.
Do it yourself
You need all three. Each has its own article with exact per-platform steps — work through them in order:
- Page title — business name, what you do, your city; under 60 characters.
- Main headline (H1) — one per page, near the top, with your business name, trade, and city.
- Page description — one or two sentences on what you do and where; under 155 characters.
All three should say the same thing in different lengths: the title is the short version, the headline is the on-page version, the description is the two-sentence version. Consistent wording across all three is what makes your identity stick.
Example
For a bar in Pittsburgh:
- Title: "Park Social Bar — Neighborhood Bar in Pittsburgh"
- Headline: "Park Social Bar — Neighborhood Bar in Pittsburgh"
- Description: "Neighborhood bar in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville with 24 taps, a late-night kitchen, and live DJs on weekends."
After publishing
Run a new CrawlReady scan. The checks read your title, headline, and description fresh each time — once all three are there, the flag clears.
